Eulogy for Jodiann Yeoh Chooi Kit

Hey, my name is Jeremy, and welcome back to another episode of "A Day in the Life of Jeremy!" A brief overview of their life, including key milestones. I met Jodiann Yeoh when she was 20 years old, still, a student in one of the prestigious universities in Malaysia, and memories with her are vividly clear in my mind. The first time I met her is at her own house where Nikki, her elder sister, brought her friends including me to her house for a casual evening dinner. Fast forward to a few months later, I asked her out for lunch for the first time and the rest is history. That evening, we had a blast talking about whatever is happening in our own's life. As time goes by, we hang out more, and little did I know, I appreciate her presence in my life more than anyone that had crossed paths with me. It's amazing how as time goes by, we've accomplished many things together, and never in my mind that I'll ever leave this person. She's just so good to be around with...

Lessons #1

Hey, my name is Jeremy, and welcome back to another episode of "A Day in the Life of Jeremy!" If you keep what you're doing, you'll get what you're getting In other meaning is that if you want the outcome to be different, do something different than what you're doing right now.

Experience More Than Classroom

Hey, my name is Jeremy, and welcome back to another episode of "A Day in the Life of Jeremy!" On Jay Shetty Podcast with Alexis Ren on Youtube, I'd like to speak on one of the things that they said and it goes like  "Experience is more than classroom. You'll be 18 once in your lifetime and it will past." The sentence was so sentimental and soothing. I felt like "Wow, that's so true! The 18 years old me has passed and I'm 21 this year, what have I done differently every single year?" To me, I have been experimenting with my emotions and behavior because I know it would lead me to downturn emotions.  The next year I'll be 22 years old and I'm thinking to myself "would I want to be the same 18 years old or would I want to be the better person in 2022?"  Think of the next move every year and try it out. You'll only live once anyway.  Do things that would make you happy even you're breaking someone's heart because o...

Reminder

Hey, my name is Jeremy and welcome back to another episode of "A Day in the Life of Jeremy!" I have to remind myself that I cannot be lazy every single day, Usually, you were the drive to my goals, But I'm getting used to having my own drive, Which is why I'm posting today. I own my own happiness, I admit my own emotion swings, I have to be my own strength and weakness, And I'm not afraid of failing over and over again. Conclusion: 1. Have a solid goal that keeps you out of bed. 2. Be your own supporter when no one is cheering for you. 3. Be empathetic towards other people.

Deep Rest

Hey, my name is Jeremy and welcome back to another episode of "A Day in the Life of Jeremy!" Your body needs to be depressed. It needs deep rest from the character that you've trying to play. - Jim Carrey Personally, I believe an individual needs deep rest from whatever you're trying to experiment to yourself. An individual should align depression with hope, faith, and sincerity even nothing is going the way you wanted. I always tell myself there's a light at the end of every tunnel. What matters is you stay in the tunnel or you believe that you can make it through the tough times. Tough times don't last forever but tough people do. I consulted my friend again, she's been very helpful lately with whatever I'm trying to do with my life. "You gotta change your mindset. Life is a journey, not a destination" She said. Even I know this,  I don't seem to have applied it in my life until that moment.  Understanding is one part. Everyone can list...

Perspectives

Image
Hey, my name is Jeremy and welcome back to another episode of "A Day in the Life of Jeremy!" When someone is talking to you about their point of view, You're actually looking into their world, And how they perceive the world. You can't just judge them because two different individual thinks differently, Or doesn't sync with each other, That's how the world is. Someone may view it as number "6" on the other side, And someone may view it as number "9" at the other end. Learn how to accept perspectives and do not point fingers, Because the other 4 fingers are pointing towards you, You're at fault too frankly speaking. If you can't understand why an individual's thought process is like that, Ask them questions that will make you understand, Not harass them with "You are wrong. You shouldn't be thinking like that", What's wrong with me thinking about me?
