D-Day--- Sabah

I was so excited with the trip until I couldn’t get a good night sleep before the day trip. Before the trip, me and my friends decided to meet up in the airport because we were miles away from each other where we were at our own hometown respectively.

Fast forward to meet up point where we were hyped for this trip.

Day 1---

On the very first day of the trip, we flew to Sabah by using AirAsia service. I wanted to give a round of applause to them. It made me felt safe using their services.Their services were incredible. I'm pleasant with the service they provided throughout the journey. When we landed, we met up with a friend whom going to be our so-called tour guide until the trip ended. I wouldn’t say tour guide because he’s part of a brother to me.

My friend, he brought us the one of the best pork noodle in town named 生肉面 at Kedai Kopi Jia Siang located in Lintas. Every single thing about that bowl of noodle was great; the broth, they seasoned at the right amount, the noodle was easily slurped and I was totally dumbfounded with the noodle. To add on the stunning taste, one should order beverages. Lychee Kang is most recommended as it made of fresh milk, lychees, grass jelly. The sweetness of the drink was able to match with the noodle significantly.
At night, My friend brought us to 999 Bar and Bistro in Kampung Air. The 999 is a renowned bar and bistro in Sabah and from my point of view, it is one of the largest and biggest bar and bistro in Sabah. The experience inside was remarkable. Before the clock hits 2400 hours, there will be a singing competition/ singing band performance from the best of the best singers in town.

After 2400 midnight, the DJ appeared the scene and started electronic musics which made everyone in the night club stimulate our excitement. Me and my friends ended the night club event at around 0200 hours in the morning and it still hasn't end the mark of the day. Some were tired in addition sleepy and exhausted from the 999 bar and bistro, others went ahead to try out one of the local food in town which was prawn noodles.

Day 2---

Before starting the day, we had Tarampuli Mee for breakfast.

Treal deal began with the journey to what Sabahan people used to say 'deep mountain'. We went up Kundasang. A little fun fact about Kundasang is that Kundasang is a town in a district located in Ranau and to reach there you need to drive an uphill slope because it is at a mountain site which about 1,900 meters.

At one point of driving upwards for about 45 minutes, you could started to feel the cold breeze the moment you opened the side windows of the car. That's when you knew you were going to reach to the designated place.

Kundasang is crowded too. It is one of the best tourist attraction in Sabah. One of the well thought of place to go in Kundasang is Desa Cattle Dairy Farm. DESA Farm is where most of the cow's milk and product are produced.

As I stepped off from the car, the smell disguised me. As you know, the production and breed of cows will be there as well. Therefore, the faeces were direct visible to the tourists but there was nothing to be disguise of when it was what it was. The packed milk can be bought and there were many various selection; vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and yogurt.

Next, we went to koi pond before going back down from the deep mountain. Koi pond was interesting. I get to feed the fishes by paying a small amount to buy the fish food. That feeling that I had was total speechless. I couldn't expressed how much relaxing it was when the time I was feeding the koi fishes with my hand and a school of fishes swam directly to me to be fed. Those ticklish fins and its body were so satisfying to be felt.

It was evening and we decided to have lunch before going back down to home. We then stopped at a small no-named restaurant and decided to dine. Some ordered their own selves portion of foods and others had ordered servings of foods for they can share their food.

The journey back down to home wasn't simple as driving a straight road or highway. The sloping down road was three times more difficult to handle in addition the road there had bumps, holes and debris of rocks. One silly mistake could end an innocent life. Therefore, the driver must drove confidently. Then, we made it down safely eventually. I actually felt sympathetic to the driver, Adrian and Yihim, drove another car, had excelled from paying much attention to the road as theycouldn’t take a break for hours from Kundasang backto home.

At night, we ate dinner at a fine restaurant with auntie penny. Auntie Penny is like a mother, sister and friend to me. She was truly kind, honest, determined of the way she spoke to me. Auntie Penny is loving and caring mother of my friend, Adrian. The restaurant serveda variety of different type of cuisine; there was Malaysian, Thailand, and Western if I was not mistaken. I had pineapple fried rice which was the best so far. The pineapple was freshly cut and the fried rice was cooked in a stir-fry wok.

Let's not skip the part where everyone needs late night snack to fulfill the essentials. At 2300 hours if not mistaken, me and my friends went to enjoy prawn noodles at Kedai Kopi Jin Siang located in Damai Point Luyang.

Day 3---

Rising shine, beautiful. In the morning, we had Tuaran Mee, 斗亚兰面, for breakfast at Jalan Tuaran, Inaman. The noodle was surprisingly good. The texture of the noodle was fried, added with Chinese BBQ pork belly, eggs and vegetables.

The next destination was off to get ready for Borneo Kellybay Paradise, 龙尾湾located in Jalan Kampung Laya Laya, Tuaran. The scenery was beautiful. Everything was beautiful in the island. The time we went there, we couldn't play much because the river has jellyfishes swimming around and we wouldn't want to get in deep trouble. When I played the banana boat ride, the driver carefully looked for the jellyfish before flipping us which was fun to begin with.
Next, Kayaking was sick too.
At night, me and my friends had grilled fish and steamed and fried dumplings alongside fried rice, fried noodles and et cetera. I had the best grilled fish and the best dumplings throughout my entire lifetime. The fish was perfectly grilled and the sauce made the whole new magic. Sweet and sour with the not-so spiciness really matched my taste-bud. Speaking of the dumplings, for the steamed and fried ones, they came out hot and warm where I get to see the heat coming out with my naked eyes. The hand-made dumplings was filled with the mixture of veges and meats.

There's no fun in the trip if there isn't any beer party. Cards, Musics, and a Karaoke room were all it needed for the night. It was a mini party from what I could totally felt. The smile on each faces made me thought they really enjoyed the entire trip.

D Day--- Home

I woke up as early as 0400 hours in the morning to be their personal alarm clock. The reason we needed to wake up as early before the sun rises was to see sunrise in Kokol Hill. Fortunately, I managed to wake everyone up and started our journey as soon as possible because a minute late could missed a sun rising from the bottom to the top.

I had never witnessed a sunrise in my life before. That day, I was glad I woke up early and witnessed the beautiful sunrise before my eyes. It really looked elegant like I look at my partner. I had that feeling of feeling loved just by watching the sunrise pooping out from the mountain and moving upwards which was shinning so brightly.

10 hours before our flight back to Kuala Lumpur, in the morning 0800 hours, we had seafood noodle for breakfast. The type of noodle was common but the broth that I had was different from others. I added susu inside my broth and it tasted much more sweet. It was my first experiencing a bowl of noodlewith susu.

To be frank, none of us was a morning people. Therefore, we had issues with waking up in the early morning. Of course, we rested and without slacking any of our precious moment of the trip, we got up and went to get ourselves scrumptious seafood dishes for lunch in the afternoon.

Before leaving to the airport to end the trip, we then went to grab a drink at Yoyo @ Lintas after that happy meal. Little fact about Yoyo. Yoyo is the first shop to open a bubble tea shop in Lintas.
