3 Weeks and 1 Day as A Property Agent
Hey, my name is Jeremy, and welcome back to another episode of "A Day in the Life of Jeremy!"
I have closed a rental deal of RM2,200 with my colleague representing as a homeowner's agent and I represent as a tenant's agent.
Because of the unfamiliarity of concluding a rental contract, the procedure wasn't simple, and I had to keep my head held high. In the sense that an agent must focus on both the front-load and the back-load, the procedure may be tiresome.
Dealing with the owner and the renter would be the front-load. My colleague, Ashriff, who has been in the field for one year and counting, encouraged me to create some limits and not follow the client's timetable.
The back-load is responsible for interacting with the company's administration and is where the invoices and receipts are kept. As an agent, I act as a liaison between the two parties in order for the Tenancy Agreement to be signed.
Because I'm still new to the field, I can afford to take chances, but I won't continue to be obedient to the client's every particular instruction because I have my own priorities. Overall, if I could go back in time, I would tell my younger self that I had a heck of an experience. I'm pleased I went with my gut and followed my instincts in this field.
